2012 L.A. Watts Summer Games Girls Soccer Tournament Wrap-Up

In 2012, the L.A. Watts Summer Games Boys and Girls Soccer Tournaments returned to the Home Depot Center...well, at least the playoffs returned to the Home Depot Center.

The girls opened the tournament on Sunday, June 10, 2012, with a field of 13 teams.

Opening day games were played at Fremont HS, Washington Prep HS, and Ted Watkins Park. The semi-final and final matches were played at the Home Depot Center on Saturday, June 16, 2012.

The four teams that moved on to the semi-finals were: Flintridge Sacred Heart, Bell HS, Long Beach Poly, and Fremont HS.

With a few minutes remaining in regulation, Flintridge Sacred Heart scored the winning goal for a 3-2 finish over Long Beach Poly in the final.
