The mission of the LA Watts Summer Games is to build bridges of understanding among high school youth through positive interaction, respect and achievement through spirited competition. The Games strives to power the future of Los Angeles by challenging the next generation to act as catalysts for driving positive change within their respective communities.

As the nation’s largest high school athletic competition, the Games brings together more than 4,000 student athletes each year from Los Angeles and throughout Southern California. Modeled after the Summer Olympics, this signature event offers competition platforms for volleyball, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, softball, football, golf and much more. The Games also provides valuable resources and opportunities to Watts and its neighboring communities with resource exhibits, workshops and clinics and healthy eating/fitness initiatives.
